Following the great participation in the first and second editions, the Regional Foundation for Biomedical Research is once again investing in young researchers by launching the EARLY CAREER AWARD – III Edition.
As suggested by the title itself, with this measure, FRRB and the Lombardy Region are renewing their commitment to supporting the most promising young researchers who propose innovative projects in the biomedical field, allowing them to start or consolidate their independent careers. The call for applications is open to young italian or foreign researchers who wish to develop a research project at an institution within the regional healthcare system (ASST, IRCCS, ATS, University, Research Organizations, or AREU) based in Lombardy. The institution that will manage the funding must guarantee the young researcher the best conditions for the project to be carried out successfully.
The thematic areas identified by the call for proposals are:
- CARDIOVASCULAR MEDICINE;
- NERVOUS SYSTEM MEDICINE;
- ONCOLOGY;
- EXPERIMENTAL PHARMACOLOGY (Drug Discovery, Development, Delivery, and Repositioning).Please note that all Project Proposals submitted within the scope of Experimental Pharmacology must not fall within the thematic areas of Cardiovascular Medicine, Nervous System Medicine, or Oncology, under penalty of forfeiture of the Project Proposal.
Maximum contribution: €750,000.00 per individual project lasting 36 months.
