FONDAZIONE TELETHON
Fondazione Telethon and Fondazione Regionale per la Ricerca Biomedica (FRRB) have signed a three-year agreement aimed at funding and promoting innovative projects in the field of rare genetic diseases. The initiative seeks to strengthen collaboration between the two foundations by supporting biomedical research and fostering initiatives that highlight scientific progress in this area.
The first concrete example of this partnership is the joint call MULTI-ROUND CALL FOR RESEARCH PROJECTS 2025–2027 – ROUND I, which is intended to fund preclinical research projects on rare genetic diseases.

Cluster Lombardo Scienze della Vita
The Lombardy Life Sciences Cluster is a regional community aimed at promoting progress, innovation, and collaboration among public and private entities, spanning research, industry, and clinical practice (including 20 hospitals and social health agencies, 17 universities and research centers, over 50 companies, and 5 territorial and trade associations) active across all areas of life sciences in Lombardy.
The General Director of FRRB has recently been elected as a member of the Executive Board, which will remain in office until 2028.
