PROJECT AIMS
This Project aims:
- To explore the prevalence of high-risk atheromas in asymptomatic subjects with a family history of acute coronary syndrome;
- To verify how the assessment of atherosclerosis by cardiac CT scan can reclassify cardiovascular risk in asymptomatic subjects with a family history of acute coronary syndrome compared to traditional risk scores;
- To explore the potential association between the biohumoral and genetic profile and prevalence and distribution of high-risk coronary atherosclerosis on cardiac CT in a selected cohort of patients.
