2015 call for proposals for the promotion of biomedical research
The Regional Foundation for Biomedical Research supports biomedical research by publishing public calls for proposals aimed at funding the most deserving research projects in the areas specified in each call.
The multi-year, network-based, and collaborative projects are selected by FRRB using the peer review method, drawing on independent scientific experts of international renown.
In 2015, the Foundation published the first regional call for proposals aimed at partnerships between Lombardy-based entities for the implementation of three-year projects focused on translational medicine, personalized medicine, and spontaneous clinical research.
Out of a total of 42 projects submitted, the call for proposals closed with the allocation of a total of €15,207,658 to four network projects led by Lombardy IRCCS.
