FRRB & European / ERANET Partnerships

One of the Foundation’s most important goals is to attract funding allocated through European programming to the Lombardy region, with the aim of highlighting the expertise of Lombard institutions and enhancing their value within a broader context.

FRRB therefore positions itself as an active player in designing, facilitating, and coordinating initiatives and projects aligned with regional priorities: personalized medicine, research on rare diseases, cancer, antimicrobial resistance, brain health, and more resilient, patient-centered healthcare systems.

Active dialogue and collaboration with European partners enable the effective exchange of best practices to meet the needs and expectations of European citizens.

The European projects in which FRRB is involved fall under the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes.

FRRB participates in the ECHoS project (as a Third Party of the National Cancer Institute of Milan) and in the IC PERMED project.
