Partnership Europea

Brain Health

Aperto

Anno: 2025

Brain, neurological and mental disorders are among the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. The pandemic, geopolitical crises and economic difficulties have exacerbated the situation, especially for the most vulnerable. Maintaining brain health is therefore a priority. To address this challenge, the European Brain Health Partnership (EP BrainHealth) has been established, a major collaboration between the European Commission, governments, international partners, patient associations and other stakeholders. The goal is clear: to improve brain health for all by preventing and treating diseases through scientific research.
The partnership promotes investment, brings together expertise and aims to transform discoveries into concrete and accessible solutions for prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The work plan covers nine main areas, from research funding to citizen engagement and the development of new skills.
Everything revolves around four objectives: increasing competitiveness, accelerating innovation, training new talent and building a robust ecosystem for brain health.
