European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases

The European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases (EJP RD) brings over 130 institutions from 35 countries.  The aim is to create a comprehensive, sustainable ecosystem allowing a virtuous circle between research, care and medical innovation.

As recognized by the Council Recommendation 2009/C 151/02, rare diseases (RD) are a prime example of a research area that can strongly profit from coordination on a European and international scale.

The Funding Agencies of the EJP RD project, including FRRB, have decided to collaborate to launch a number of  Joint Transnational Calls for the funding multilateral research projects on rare diseases.

More information on open calls is available on the page dedicated to European funding of FRRB: http://www.frrb.it/en/eu-projects and at the link of the project http://www.ejprarediseases.org/
