TNBC poorly responds to therapy due to a immune-suppressive tumor milieu. We found that intratumor S. epidermidis worsens TIME by attracting immune-suppressive cells and removing it in mice with BC, improved antitumor immunity and slowed tumor growth. This project delves into the S. epidermidis, and suppressive immune cells link and tests microbiota-based therapies to boost treatment and survival.
