PROJECT AIM
Primary FSGS is a rare disease characterized by nephrotic syndrome and progressive loss of kidney function in half of patients despite treatment. FSGS is caused by an ill-defined, immune-related permeability factor that induces podocyte damage and glomerular scarring. The goal of this project is to determine whether therapeutic multi-targeting may prevent kidney damage in primary FSGS.
